Instead of Helping Ukraine’s Poor, Ferrexpo’s Charitable Donations Flowed to Companies Associated With Its Then-CEO

Source briefing · A concise briefing based on one linked source. It is intentionally shorter than a full FreedomWitness Evidence Engine analysis.
What the source reports
Tens of millions of dollars that the London-listed iron ore giant Ferrexpo donated to a Ukrainian charity were not used for their intended purpose, according to a forensic report shared with OCCRP.
Instead, the charitable funds flowed through dozens of Ukrainian companies — some of which were owned or controlled by Ferrexpo’s then-CEO Kostyantyn Zhevago.
